Special Skills drive a motorcycle, instrument(other), sports(other), sports(soccer), sports(tennis), swimming ALL THE INFO YOU NEED RHYS UHLICH PROFILE Rhys Uhlich, The winner of Channel 7s "Make me a supermodel", hosted by Jennifer Hawkins. Rhys was plucked from relative obscurity late last year and launched to national fame when he was voted by the public as Australia's next supermodel. After successfully completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Majoring in Psychology and TV documentary, Rhys followed his love of working with kids when he became a primary school P.E teacher. Other than mentoring children, Rhys is passionate about Film making, traveling, surfing and now fashion and modeling. A documentary film maker (with his small company stay young productions), and part owner of fashion label "boche collection", Rhys has travelled extensively, inparticular to Indonesia where he has been 10 times. On a recent two month jungle and surf safari, he hung out with the local children, filmed and took full advantage of the outstanding surf, even caught dengue fever which he says was all part of the experience! During his time on "Make me a supermodel" Rhys won over the Australian public with his down to earth nature and ability to look at the lighter side of an otherwise ultra serious, cut throat business. Rhys confirmed his drive to take challenges head on and was always willing to step outside his comfort zone. While Rhys had worked as a part time model throughout his teenage years, it was only recently that he became confident enough to step out of his typecast, successfully morphing himself in a short amount of time from a surfer dude to high end fashion model. While his passion for working with kids will always remain, and a career in modelling awaits, Rhys is now very eager to persue a career in film and TV and cannot wait to see what the future holds. Is a clothing label started by my sister, her boyfriend and I about 2 years ago. I am more of the silent partner of the three, and help out with designs, modeling and organizing orders from this end. The company is based in Australia, but sources its gear from thailand through various designers we work closely with there. My sister Holly and her now ex boyfriend Gus are often over there liasing with the designers and making sure we have the best product. At the moment boche is mainly specializing in mens fasion, primarily t-s (tie-die being big wih us at the moment) and cardis, flannos etc. We hope to venture more into womens and denim in the near future. Is my own, small production company which i started 3 years ago as part of my film work i undertook throughout indonesia. I then moved into wedding filming and freelance filming to earn some money and have filmed various weddings and promotional dvds for new products. Documentary making however, is one of my real passions and probably a significant factor in my new found interest of entering the T.V hosting world.
