Free - There is no cost to post a resume or search for resumes. This is good for you for 2 reasons: 1) you don't have to pay 2) actors will be more likely to post resumes since they don't have to pay either Easy - Just sign up for an account and you can contact any actor on the site. You can post casting calls for your projects and keep track of the responses. You can find the exact actors that you are looking for by searching based on gender, age, ethnicity, height, and several other fields. Convenient - Want to know what actors are interested in your project. Post a call and see the responses. You can create your own custom labels to keep track of the replies. You can write notes on each actor and save your favorites. Customizable - When you create calls for projects, you can include any information that you would like. You can optionally create profiles of actors that you are looking for (age, gender, ethnicity, etc) and attach them to the call. You can create your own questions for actors to answer when they reply to the call. You can also make your own labels for the call and attach them to certain actors so you can easily catagorize and keep track to the replies.

Just sign up to create an account, then fill out a form with your resume information. For more information, see the "How The Site Works" section of the Help Page. Also, one of the main things that people will look for is pictures and picture uploading has been made very simple. You just find the file on your computer and hit the "upload" button. The site automaticly makes 2 copies of your picture: 1 is a thumbnail, and 2 is a web version of your picture. The web version will make sure that the image is a good size for viewing on the web since images that are too large will take too long to download. Once your resume is completed you can wait for casting directors to contact you or start searching for calls to reply to. Customizeable - You can include any information that you want. You can make your own resume sections and add the information. You can make sections such as "film experience", "theatre experience", "special skills", "acting workshops", etc and put whatever information you would like under each. You can also upload a Word(.doc) or .pdf resume that people can download. So if someone is interested, they can download your resume that is set up exactly how you want it. You can even decide whether or not you want your resume to appear in search results. If you decide that you want to use the site as an online resume, but no have people able to search for you, you can set your resume up this way. Convenient - If you want to share your resume, it will be available for anyone to view by typing in a simple web URL (address). If your name is Joe Smith, your link will be something like "www.actorhub.com/joe_smith". also, just in case the person that you give the link to gets it wrong, "www.actorhub.com/joesmith" will also work. Secure - No visitors to the site will have access to your contact information. To use the site, you must give your email address. When people contact you, they will fill out a form with their contact information. This information will be emailed to you from the site. They will not have access to your email address unless you email them back.
